SARAH DEDEJ

Sarah Dedej (she, her, hers) is a senior program manager for publications at AGU.

As Senior Program Manager, Sarah leads a team of Program Specialists and is responsible for the management and administration of the peer review, production, and publication of a portfolio AGU’s scholarly journals, including Geophysical Research Letters.

As Publications Ethics Manager, Sarah leads the scientific integrity and professional ethics policy management for AGU’s journals, working closely with journal editors, AGU’s Publications Committee and Ethics Office. The works includes handling publication ethics issues and appeals across all 23 journals and educating colleagues, volunteers, and authors on best practices in ethical editorial processes.

Sarah has been working in publishing for more than 10 years in multiple disciplines. Before joining AGU, Sarah was a peer review coordinator at the American Psychological Association and contracts, permissions, and journals coordinator at Georgetown University Press.

She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Literature from American University.
